The concerns around nano and the environment are mainly to do with the behaviour of nanomaterials in the environment and ensuring that appropriate testing is done before they are widely used in products.

A great deal more testing needs to be done on nanomaterials in many product areas before we can clearly understand the behaviour of nanomaterials in the environment.
